Death toll in Mundathikode fireworks explosion rises to 16

A 16th person has died following the Mundathikode fireworks explosion in Kerala, with Unnikrishnan succumbing to over 80 percent burns. The incident, which occurred on April 21 at a fireworks manufacturing unit, has now claimed 16 lives, with four individuals still missing. The fireworks were being produced for the Thrissur Pooram festivities.
