Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez addressed a major Democratic victory in Virginia, which Donald Trump and other members of the Republican party have slammed as the results of a “rigged election.”

In a special election this week, a referendum to allow congressional redistricting in Virginia passed, according to reporting by The New York Times.

The newly approved map would give Democrats a boost, shifting districts so that the party could more easily win in 10 of the states 11 districts.
