MAGA influencers rally behind ‘wild card’ AG pick after Bondi firing

A “wild card” contender has emerged as MAGA allies push for a new attorney general following the ouster this week of Pam Bondi.

As loyalists jockey to replace Bondi, some in President Donald Trump’s orbit are rallying behind Harmeet Dhillon, an ultra-conservative lawyer and current Justice Department official.

Dhillon has “spent years as a Republican Party official and conservative lawyer, known for challenging pandemic-era restrictions and supporting Trump’s efforts to contest the 2020 election,” the Daily Beast reported Friday.
