Assam polls: Amit Shah targets Congress over infiltration, says no UCC for tribals

Union Home Minister Amit Shah assured tribals the Uniform Civil Code will not affect them. He promised agricultural support if the BJP is voted back to power. Shah criticized the Congress for failing to stop infiltrators in Garo Hills. He pledged to send back all identified infiltrators. Shah also accused the Congress of politics over the deaths of Assamese youth.
