Sending parcels to US suspended

Cyprus Post has decided to temporarily suspend sending parcels to the United States, due to problems in the handling of the parcels by customs.

In a press release on Friday, the postal services said that despite efforts, no clear answers have been received from the US regarding the source of the problems.

Thus, until further notice, only documents can be mailed to the US.

Cyprus Post said the measure was taken to protect the senders and that a new method of sending parcels to the US would be announced soon.
