A 14-year-old boy was shot dead in the middle of the afternoon yesterday.

The teenager died at the scene in Woolwich, southeast London, shortly after 3pm on Thursday.

Three teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The suspects – two boys, aged 14 and 16, and an 18-year-old man – remain in custody.
