Police issue 170 fines in crime crackdown

Police issued 170 fines in nationwide crime crackdown on Thursday night aimed at preventing serious crime and boosting public safety, it said on Friday.

Officers carried out coordinated patrols across urban areas, focusing on key locations to deter criminal activity and maintain public order.

One person was arrested for illegal possession of property and traffic offences.

During the operation, police stopped 400 vehicles and checked 542 drivers and passengers.
