Elephant rescued from 45-ft deep well on Ranchi outskirts

A dramatic rescue unfolded on Ranchi's outskirts as forest officials, aided by villagers, saved a young elephant from a 45-foot well. The animal had fallen in during the night. After hours of effort, including filling the well with water and creating a ramp with an earthmover, the elephant was safely guided back to its herd.
