Woman dies after immolation bid, man held for abetment

A 20-year-old woman, who attempted self-immolation after lodging a rape case against a priest, has died from her burn injuries. The college dropout had reportedly been in a relationship with the accused since 2022. Police arrested the priest on rape charges and are now investigating him for abetment to suicide.
