NWS Warns of Snow, Severe Icing, 'Dangerous' Travel in Several States

Sure, it's April, but that doesn't mean spring has arrived in every part of the United States. Several states are expected to see the last vestiges of Winter 2026 in the coming days.

As of Thursday afternoon, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning, its most serious winter alert, for multiple parts of the country.

Four of the states affected include Maine, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
