Vijay, TVK chief, filed his nomination for the Tiruchirappalli East constituency. He also filed papers from Perambur in Chennai. A massive roadshow preceded the nomination. Vijay assisted a rider after a minor accident. He faces a key contest against DMK and AIADMK candidates. Intensive campaigning is planned across the central district.
