Delhi HC directs removal of social media posts over 'molestation' of journalist on flight

The Delhi High Court has ordered the removal of 'defamatory' social media posts concerning an alleged molestation incident on a flight. The court ruled that prematurely revealing the identity of the accused and sensationalizing allegations before a formal investigation violates his right to dignity and a fair trial. Actor Richa Chadha was also cautioned for amplifying unverified claims.
