Hyatt appoints Vikas Chawla as President – India & Southwest Asia

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is expanding its presence in India and Southwest Asia. Vikas Chawla will lead the company's strategy and growth in the region starting April 1, 2026. Hyatt plans to add nearly 5,000 rooms to its pipeline in 2025. The company is strengthening its brand in key cities and exploring new destinations.
