Happy Feet tap dances toward a stage adaptation
Happy Feet, the 2006 animated musical about dancing penguins from director George Miller, is the latest piece of IP to make the leap from screen to stage. The original story follows Mumble, a penguin who’s into dance while all the other penguins are into singing, which should make the transition to the stage fairly natural.
No performances of the show have yet been confirmed, but the show has announced a pretty distinguished team to help bring the story to the stage. Maybe Happy Ending‘s and Parade‘s Michael Arden will direct...
