SLAP ON THE WRIST: Somali Fraudster Who Stole Millions from Hungry Children Sentenced to Just ONE YEAR — Could Be Out Early in Halfway House Thanks to Weak Sentencing

Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Minnesota Matthew Murphy; U.S. District Judge Nancy E. Brasel

A Somali fraudster who ripped off millions meant for hungry children during the COVID nightmare has been handed a pathetic slap on the wrist, just ONE YEAR in prison.

Abdul Abubakar Ali, 40, of St. Paul, Minnesota, was sentenced Monday by U.S. District Judge Nancy E. Brasel, who was nominated by President Donald Trump in 2018, to one year and one day for his role in the monstrous Feeding Our Future scandal.
