Fuel prices rise sharply in March

Fuel prices in Finland increased in March, with official data showing sharp rises across all categories as disruption to global energy supply pushed costs higher.

Statistics Finland reported that light fuel oil recorded the steepest increase, rising by 41 per cent compared with February. Diesel prices followed with a 16 per cent rise. Petrol prices also increased, with 95-octane up by 10 per cent and 98-octane by 9 per cent.
