Magnum Ice Cream acquires 61.9% stake in Kwality Wall's

Magnum Ice Cream Netherlands has acquired a 61.9% stake in Kwality Wall’s (India) Ltd, gaining control and becoming the new promoter. The outgoing promoters, including Unilever, are now reclassified as public. The acquisition follows a June 2025 Share Purchase Agreement. KWIL also appointed Abhijit Bhattacharya as Chairman and Non-Executive Director, while Ritesh Tiwari resigned from the board.
