Senior Maoist leader, 8 others surrender in Andhra Pradesh

Nine Maoists, including senior leader C Narayana Rao, surrendered before Andhra Pradesh police. Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta announced that Left Wing Extremism has ended in the state. This development follows sustained pressure and intelligence-based operations.
