Motorcycle destroyed in suspected arson case

A motorcycle in Limassol was deliberately set on fire on Sunday afternoon, authorities confirmed on Monday.

According to the fire brigade, at 5.47pm members of the Monovolikos fire station were called to tackle a blaze affecting a two-wheeled vehicle near the Church of the Holy Cross in Polemidia.

The fire was brought under control by 6.06pm, but the motorcycle sustained extensive damage.

Investigations by the fire brigade indicated that the fire was intentionally.
