Missing cat triggers airport investigation after disappearance on Cyprus–Athens flight

A one-eyed male cat named Bibi went missing during air transport from Larnaca to an overseas destination via Athens on Monday, prompting an urgent investigation.

According to a statement issued by the Ecologists Movement, Bibi disappeared between departure from Larnaca airport and transit through Athens airport, despite being transported in an approved crate that had been “fully insured and checked before disembarkation” with “additional measures taken to exclude any possibility of escape”.
