Police alerted after ‘suspicious vehicle’ spotted near Russian embassy

The police were alerted on Monday morning after a “suspicious vehicle” was seen parked outside a primary school near the Russian embassy in Nicosia.

After officers arrived on the scene, the area surrounding the vehicle was cordoned off.

They found nothing of concern in the vehicle, and the road was reopened shortly afterwards.
