UP teen beaten to death over mobile theft suspicion, 7 booked

A 17-year-old boy was beaten to death by a group of men in Uttar Pradesh on suspicion of stealing a mobile phone. The victim's uncle reported that Ramesh Patel and his associates took the boy from his home, intending to go to the police, but instead assaulted him. The boy was later found unconscious and pronounced dead at a hospital.
