Tripura autonomous tribal council elections to witness multi-corner fight

Elections for the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council are set for April 12. A multi-cornered contest is expected with 173 candidates vying for 28 seats. Major parties like BJP and Tipra Motha Party are contesting separately. CPI(M) and Congress are also fielding candidates. The results will be declared on April 17.
