Rs 1.5 lakh kaju seized in Hyderabad: Over 200 kg of suspected low-quality cashews found at repacking unit

A surprise inspection by the Telangana Food Safety Department at a Mallapur cashew repacking unit uncovered 36 kg of insect-infested cashews, which were discarded. Additionally, 210 kg of suspected poor-quality cashews were seized for lab analysis. The department urges consumers to check for proper labeling, signs of infestation, and buy from licensed vendors.
