Houthis rebels in Yemen enter war with missile attack on Israel, injuring 12 US soldiers

The Houthis in Yemen have joined the conflict in the Middle East after launching a missile at Israel.

The IDF said they had intercepted the attack, but it marks the first time the country has involved itself in the war which has impacted shipping as Iran targets the Strait of Hormuz.

A military spokeman for the Houthis said they are prepared to join the war on behalf of Iran after the US and Israel targeted power and nuclear sites.
