Recent UGC, NCERT rows could have been avoided: Dharmendra Pradhan

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has labelled recent controversies surrounding UGC equity regulations and an NCERT textbook as avoidable. He assured citizens that the government does not endorse discrimination against anyone. The UGC matter is sub judice, while the NCERT issue involves a court-monitored chapter addition. A committee is working on the chapter, which will be placed before the court.
