CHICAGO – Underdog. A word that perfectly encapsulates Rick Barnes’ tenure as the head coach at Tennessee. Prior to Barnes’ hiring in 2015, Tennessee had made just one Elite Eight in program history, in 2010 under Bruce Pearl.
