Govt announces latest Amalthea shipment to Gaza
Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos on Friday announced that another ship carrying humanitarian aid has sailed from Cyprus to Gaza as part of the Amalthea aid corridor.
The ship contained around 900 tonnes of humanitarian aid, which Kombos said comprises medical equipment, including neonatal incubators, hygiene items, shelter equipment and food shelters.
It set sail on March 17 and arrived two days later, with the aid now “in the process of being delivered to the civilian population of Gaza”, according to Kombos.
