Fabrizio Romano has provided a big update on the future of a midfielder whom Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly tried to sign in the last two transfer windows.

Even though Spurs boast of some excellent young midfielders in Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall and Pape Sarr, most Tottenham fans will agree that the club need further reinforcements in the middle of the park.
