Asian stocks mostly lower after Wall Street’s worst day since start of Iran war
HONG KONG (AP) — Asian shares mostly fell Friday after Wall Street had its worst day since the start of the Iran war over growing doubts about a de-escalation.
Tokyo’s Nikkei 225 index dropped 0.2% to 53,476.06. South Korea’s Kospi fell 1.8% to 5,361.29.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was up 0.6% to 24,992.06 after dipping earlier in the day, while the Shanghai Composite index was trading 0.3% higher at 3,899.12.
Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 fell 0.4% to 8,494.90.
