Eateries switch to husk-based chullah amid LPG crisis
Facing LPG shortages, Berhampur eateries are adopting a traditional solution: cooking with paddy chaff. Specialized chullahs, costing around Rs 1 lakh, utilize the husk for efficient, long-lasting heat, allowing multiple dishes like dosa and idli to be prepared simultaneously. This eco-friendly bio-fuel, supported by the state government's policy, is seeing a resurgence.
