24 killed after bus plunges into Padma River in Bangladesh

At least 24 people were killed after a passenger bus carrying around 40 people plunged into the Padma River while trying to board a ferry in southwestern Bangladesh, officials said on Thursday. The accident happened near the Daulatdia ferry terminal in Rajbari district, about 100 km from Dhaka.
