Indian airlines to operate 10% fewer flights in summer schedule

Indian airlines are set to fly over 23,000 domestic flights weekly from March 29. This represents a 10 percent reduction from last year's summer schedule. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has published the schedule for nine airlines. Ongoing West Asia conflict and rising costs create uncertainty. Further reductions in the summer schedule are possible.
