Mallikarjun Kharge questions 'hurry' on women’s quota law, seeks all-party meet post polls

Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge has written to Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju. He questions the government's urgency to amend the women's quota law. Kharge suggests an all-party meeting after April 29, 2026. This meeting will discuss the implementation of the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, 2023. The law is set to take effect from the 2029 Lok Sabha elections.
