Tipra Motha Party and BJP to not contest Tripura local polls together

Tripura allies Tipra Motha Party and BJP will not form an alliance for the upcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council polls. The Tipra Motha Party has announced its candidates for the election. The BJP has also declared it will contest all 28 seats. Polling is scheduled for April 12. The Left parties and Congress will also field candidates.
