Iran Hormuz 'toll booth': legally risky route for shippers

Iran has effectively closed the Strait of Hormuz, a vital global trade route, in retaliation for strikes by the US and Israel. A select few vessels are now crossing daily, some paying a $2 million "Tehran Toll Booth" fee for an Iranian-approved route. Governments are reportedly negotiating directly with Tehran for approved passage.
