Dollarama hikes dividend despite bad weather putting damper on sales

Unfavourable weather reduced store traffic during peak sales periods this winter, Dollarama Inc.’s chief executive said Tuesday as the retailer released its earnings results for the fourth quarter ending Feb. 1.

The Canadian discount giant raised its quarterly dividend to 12 cents per share nonetheless, up from 10.58 cents per share.
