$70M ‘Largest Wave Pool in Europe’ To Supercharge Surf in Madrid by 2027

Spain is ground-zero for one of the world’s leading wave pool technologies.

Wavegarden, the surf park behemoth behind some of the world’s most popular and prominent manmade wave operations, is based out of the Basque Country.

And their tech is soon to be utilized in what’s being touted as “the largest wave pool in Europe,” Gemswell Surf Madrid, eyeing a grand opening in 2027.
