Cyprus Post issues stamp marking Greek historical event
Cyprus Post unveiled a commemorative stamp marking 200 years since the Exodus of Messolonghi on Tuesday.
The stamp commemorates a key event in modern Greek history, symbolising freedom and sacrifice.
Deputy director of the Post Office Pavlos Pavlides as Morphou Municipality affirmed its long-standing relationship with Messolonghi, forged through a 2002 twinning agreement.
Mayor Viktor Hadjiavraam emphasised that their bond reflects shared experiences of hardship and resilience.
