State’s e-Shram registrations for gig workforce low: Labour min

Despite the rapid growth of Odisha's gig and platform workforce, registration on the e-Shram portal remains low, hindering access to social security benefits. Labour Minister Ganesh Ram Singkhuntia informed the assembly that only 17,450 such workers are registered, primarily food delivery personnel and taxi drivers.
