RDE auditor arrested for taking bribe

Odisha vigilance officials apprehended Ambika Prasad Rath, an auditor at the RDE office in Bhubaneswar, for allegedly accepting a Rs 4,000 bribe. The payment was for service verification and pay fixation under the MACP scheme. Subsequent searches at his residence uncovered Rs 28.70 lakh in unaccounted cash.
