Week starts off with rain and snow

Monday starts off cloudy and rainy, with isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon accompanied by hailstones and possibly snow or sleet in the mountains.

Snow on Troodos’ peak on Monday morning was 27cm.

Winds will be a southwest gentle to moderate breeze of 3 to 4 Beaufort over slight seas.

Temperatures will reach 19C inland and along the coast, and 5C in the highest mountains.

Monday night will be cloudy with possible isolated showers mainly along the coast.
