Winter Storm Warning Issued as Up to 10 Inches of Snow Approach: 'Dangerous' Driving Conditions
A winter storm is bearing down on northern New England just one day after the first day of spring, and forecasters are warning that travel across the region could become dangerous by Sunday morning.
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 2 a.m. Sunday through 2 a.m. Monday for parts of western Maine and northern New Hampshire, including Fryeburg, Bethel, Rangeley, Farmington, Conway, and Wolfeboro. Heavy snow is expected, with total accumulations between six and ten inches across the warning area.
