Dramatic last-minute goal sees Man United Women beat Everton and overtake Chelsea in WSL
Manchester United Women secured a last-gasp 2-1 win over Everton at the Progress With Unity Stadium on Saturday, returning to winning ways in the Women’s Super League.
The result sees United move back to second in the standings, overtaking defending champions Chelsea, who drew with London City Lionesses.
Coach Marc Skinner made two changes to the side that started the goalless draw at West Ham United. Simi Awujo and Melvine Malard replaced Dominique Janssen and Lea Schuller respectively.
