India anticipates no power supply disruptions despite the West Asia crisis affecting some gas-based generation. Alternative capacity is being prepared to meet peak demand. The government is also set to restart Tata Power's 4,000 MW Mundra plant, which uses imported coal, under Section 11 of the Electricity Act.
