Di Giannantonio takes Brazil MotoGP pole ahead of Bezzecchi, Marquez
Di Giannantonio, who had to come through the first qualifying session, seized his first pole since 2022 with an early lap of 1:17.410.
"I'm happy, for sure. When you start the week with a good vibe, you like the place, you like the track, it's already a really big step," Di Giannantonio, who was congratulated after his lap by Brazilian football legend Cafu, told motogp.com.
"Today I just had a lot of fun on the bike and we were able to do a great lap."
He will line up just in front of compatriot Marco Bezzecchi.
