NHAI to deploy AI-enabled cameras on 40,000 km of NHs for monitoring

According to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), the idea is to enhance remote tracking and road condition assessments using high-resolution imagery and video data. The initiative leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning for high-tech and data-driven operation and maintenance of national highways (NHs) in the country.
