An influential astrologer in Maharashtra's Nashik, Ashok Kharat, has been arrested for raping and blackmailing multiple women under the garb of spirituality. Ashok Kharat, who was an ex Merchant Navy officer, repeatedly raped a woman for over three years and told her husband would die if she did not follow his orders. During the investigation, police found 58 videos, most of them were objectionable.
