Lawmakers concerned about insider trading among popular prediction markets

More than $95 million has been wagered on predicting who will win the men's college basketball championship just before tipoff of the first round of play Thursday. The large volume of bets was made on the prediction market Kalshi. But it's bets on other topics -- like the ousting of Iran's former Ayatollah Ali Khamenei -- that have lawmakers concerned of insider trading.
