USPS Looking to Raise Prices Significantly

Americans could soon find significantly higher prices at the post office as the United States Postal Service (USPS) is looking to increase prices drastically to help boost revenue after a $9 billion loss in 2025.

According to Postmaster General David Steiner, the U.S. Postal Service wants to raise the price of its first-class stamps to almost $1 as it continues to struggle financially.

As a result of high costs and dwindling mail volume, the USPS has struggled financially, posting a $9 billion loss in 2025.
